"Been buying Duke Cannon for over 5 years now and don't plan on stopping. "Love the smell. Love how it doesn’t have any dyes. Unbelievably the bourbon soap does. It tarnishes my tub when I use it. This doesn’t have that issue. Smells great and is amazing for my skin."

Good, but strong

"The smell of the Palomino is pretty good--not my favorite Duke Cannon, but pretty good. The box describes the smell as "mahogany + vanilla. " I smell the vanilla, but instead of mahogany I get something more like citrus. My main concern, though, is that the smell is pretty strong. Today, for example, I showered with the soap, then slathered myself in sunscreen (which smells like coconut) and went on a long walk (roughly 5 hours) in the sun and the heat, working up a decent sweat. And yet I still find the vanilla and citrus scent of the soap overpowering the smell of the sunscreen and my own sweat, and I find it almost annoyingly strong even 10 hours after my shower. I have to assume that my colleagues at work have been smelling the soap on me, so I don't think I'll be buying this one again even though I do generally like how it smells."
